Sabeis que no soy mucho de recopilaciones, aunque cuando hago excepciones, suelen ser por una apuesta segura, y esta es una de ellas. Miren ustedes que pedazos de bandas versioneando a los "Godfathers" de todo el movimiento escandinavo. Este es quizas el tributo mejor cargado de bandas que tengo, aunque tiene una pega, y es que la persona que me lo paso, me lo envio si el ultimo corte, una version del gran Bob Hund, gran musico sueco, pero creo que despues de buscarla durante varias semanas y no encontrarla, pondre el post asi, ya que merece muchisimo la pena.

With a unique history that spawns over 20 years. 16 tracks originally recorded by the Nomads but here recorded by;the origin (The Dictators), the followers (The Hellacopters), the friends (Robots, Silvermachines), the support act (Maryslim), the ex girlfriends (Voladoras) and 11 more bands that want to make their very own tribute recording to the band.
Besides a repertoire of good songs I think you can define great bands by how many seconds of listening it takes before you recognize them. You can tell it's The Nomads in about one or two. Be it a composition of their own or a cover. Whatever they touch will sound like The Nomads and no one else. An Enrique Inglesias song in their hands would probably sound great. I'd say they're up there in the same unique leage as The Ramones, AC/DC, The Stones and a few more.//Nick Royale 2003

La verdad es que no me atrevía a pedirtelo pero, ya que pones el trubuto, no tendrás algo suyo por ahí? Hace tiempo que busco y nada...

Y es que...putos suecos, como saben rockear duro y bien :D!
Mil gracias Capi!! Los descubrí hace unos cuantos años con el tema "Don't pull my strings" en un recopilatorio de grupos de la discográfica White Jazz ("Eliminate the unnecessary and focus the Substance"), pero nunca encontré nada más suyo.
Como no soy blogger no he podido dejar comentario en babiloniawildrock.
